Drawing Room – Room designed by Lynsay Murray of Cotswold Design Centre. Client had antique fireplace, painting, and glass doors with plaster over-panels, all soft 1920s paint effects. Moore & Moore took a casting of one of the plaster panels and recreated an extra panel, gilt antiqued the small table, and did a gently aged paint effect over the entire room, together with gold edgings to match the 1920s originals.
Sitting Room – New build Jacobean-style sitting room. Panelling aged with softened drag and waxing. Faux tapestry panels were painted in over the fire surround.
Bedroom – bedroom in old house given a Bohemian exotic touch using red and gold glazes.
Study – New build Jacobean-style study. Layers of paint effects aged, distressed and waxed. Complimentary decorative artwork to cornice and various panels.
Kitchen Store – Aged red paint effect to cupboards and doors. Painted tile effect on to lime plaster walls.
Kitchen – Pine kitchen made to look like an old worn French kitchen by layering and rubbing back different layers of paint
New Kitchen – Brand new kitchen given a softened paint effect.
Cloakroom – Client had already had prints. Framings and ribbon hangings were all trompe l’oeil, and large double horse picture drawn to harmonize with client’s prints, creating a “Print Room” look.
